For parents, relatives, and caregivers of queer children and young people
A coming out, whether related to sexual/romantic orientation or gender identity, often brings many questions, uncertainties, and emotions. Not only for the person coming out, but also for the people around them.
Proud & Without Judgment is a guided and open group for parents and relatives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, inter*, non-binary*, queer, or questioning children and young people.
It does not matter:
- what kind of relationship you have to the young person,
- whether they already participate in activities at Lambda BB,
- or whether the coming out happened recently or some time ago.
What Matters to Us
We want to create a space for open exchange, without judgment and without pressure.
The group offers an opportunity to:
- ask questions,
- share experiences,
- talk about uncertainties,
- and connect with other relatives and caregivers.
We also want to support you in being a caring and supportive person for the queer young person in your life.
Meetings
The group meets once a month at Lambda BB’s queer youth center.
